Building the Dream
My father has always wanted a telescope. And with an 80th Birthday coming up, it seemed this was the ideal time to fulfill his dream.
With help from friends on Twitter, a suitable entry level ‘scope was sourced and sent up to Wales. Presented to him on Christmas morning, it sat dutifully in its box until the 27th when – under supervision from Molly P Cat – it was assembled by a suitable convocation of would be astronomers.
Father, resplendent in his grey and striped cardigan took control while Steve assembled it, and John showed off his new Christmas Jumper.
By Molly’s reckoning it took a mere matter of years to put together.
Now, all the humans wait for is a break in the cloud for their stargazing to begin.
And Molly? Well she’s ready for her closeup, so take it!

I feel sure the telescope would simply not have gone together properly without Molly’s close supervision 😀
