HQ has gone on manoeuvres. We have decamped for a long weekend. Wandering around the parent’s garden, taking photos, I spotted this chap; he was on the flowering currant. My photos of him, busy at work, do not do him justice. Then he stopped; settled on some moss; folded his wings and took in the sunshine.
