50 before 50: #15 & #16 St Ives

Stopping in St Ives awhile back I snapped these two plaques. Not remembering people per se. More remembering the occupations of people and the buildings they worked in: the corn exchange and the police station 

If you get time to visit, it’s a quaint market town with some nice independent eateries and a statue of Oliver Cromwell.  I don’t however meet the man with 7 wives, or their cats and kittens. Maybe he reached his destination?
